Enough! Choosing More For Yourself

Situations change when we decide enough is enough

Enough…period. ENOUGH…exclamation point!

Enough is a power-filled word. It's what we say when something deep inside us rises up and calls a halt to the turmoil, the indecision, the back and forth in our lives. It's what we say when we must make a change…and nothing is going to stop us. It's that point when we know our lives will never be the same again.

Whether we say it loudly to everyone around us or quietly to ourselves, the declaration of, "Enough!" brings immediate change. It's that point when we really decide to get healthy. It's the point when we exit bad relationships. It's the point when we stop answering desperate phone calls from a toxic friend that is sucking the life out of us. It's the point when we finally give that two-week notice at a terrible job without having another one lined up! Or for you business owners, it's the point when you "fire" a customer because dealing with them just isn't worth the hassle.

Today is that day for me…and my husband.

Today is the day our life changes. We will sell every last thing we own and live in a tent before continuing to run like rats through a maze. It isn't really about ditching city life. It's about slowing the fast pace that leaves us exhausted physically and mentally at the end of every day. Yes, every day…even Saturday and Sunday.

Enough indecision. Enough heartbeats wasted. It's time to get free…be free.

These are the questions people are going to ask, but I don't have any answers. Not yet, anyway.

The journey starts now. It's time to consider every option, every possible destination. When I look around me, there is a lot to do. We have lived in this house for almost 12 years which means we have accumulated a ton of stuff!

Here's what I do know. We are selling our house. We are selling our businesses. We are selling our stuff. We are not going to stand paralyzed and do nothing because we don't have all the answers.
